Tara Luu is a Quality Industrial Engineer at Sumitomo Electric Lightwave since January 2022, with prior experience as a Manufacturing Engineer at Caterpillar Inc. and a Project Leader at Honda of Canada Manufacturing. Tara has also served as a Teaching Assistant at Ryerson University and an Improvement Analyst at Michael Garron Hospital. In various roles at Ryerson University, including Lead Mentor for the Faculty of Engineering and Night Auditor, Tara demonstrated strong mentorship and analytical skills. Additionally, experience as a Supported Group Learning Leader and an International Peer Supporter showcases Tara's commitment to education and support for international students. Tara holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology.
