Lynnea Johnson

Lynnea Johnson is an experienced educator currently serving as the Gifted Coordinator for Groveport Madison Local School District since August 2016, where responsibilities include planning programming, providing professional development, analyzing student data, and testing gifted students in grades K-12. In addition, Lynnea has held the position of Academic Dean at the Summer Institute for the Gifted since June 2008, overseeing teachers and coordinating academic programming. Previously, Lynnea served as Gifted Coordinator for Licking County ESC from August 2013 to June 2016, providing professional development for teachers of gifted learners, and as a Gifted Specialist for Johnstown Monroe Schools from August 2007 to September 2013. Lynnea began their career in education as a Third Grade Teacher at Buckeye Valley Schools from August 2002 to June 2007. Academically, Lynnea holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Curriculum and Instruction from Ashland University and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Education from Otterbein University, including a Reading Endorsement for grades K-12.
