Ebony Moore

Ebony Moore has extensive experience in education and program coordination, currently serving as the Program Coordinator for Summer Scholars since November 2007. In this role, Ebony collaborates with Denver Public Schools and Denver Parks & Recreation to provide data-driven literacy instruction and enrichment for elementary school children while managing student recruitment, supervision, federal grant compliance, and payroll. Prior to this, Ebony worked as a Recreation Instructor for Denver Parks and Recreation and as a teacher in Secondary Education at Merrill Middle School within Denver Public Schools. Additionally, Ebony has a background in underwriting from American Family Insurance. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Colorado at Denver and completion of the Colorado Teacher Licensure Program at Metropolitan State University of Denver.
