Shannon Pop

Shannon Pop is an experienced medical professional currently serving as an Intensivist at Trident Medical Center since December 2022. Prior to this role, Shannon was a Physician Assistant Student at Augusta University from May 2020 to December 2022. Additional experience includes working as a Surgical Assistant at Baucom and Mina Derm Surgery from September 2018 to May 2020, a Medical Assistant at MetroDerm and CPSMD at MetroDerm from July 2017 to September 2018, and a Research Assistant at the University of Georgia from October 2016 to May 2017, where Shannon contributed to research on target proteins for potential drug candidates. Shannon also volunteered with MEDLIFE from August 2015 to May 2017. Educationally, Shannon holds a Master of Physician Assistant from Augusta University and a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Sciences from The University of Georgia.
