Patrick Cully is an experienced professional with a diverse background spanning across various roles. Currently serving as a Snowboard Instructor at Summit at Snoqualmie since December 2018, Patrick was recognized as the 2018-19 Rookie Snowboard Instructor of the Year. In addition to this role, Patrick operates as a self-employed Professional Giant Pumpkin Carver. Previous experience includes working as an Account Manager at Sands Costner & Associates and as an Account Coordinator and Marketing Intern at Inside Out Communications, where responsibilities encompassed client relations, project management, and social media campaigns. Additional roles include a Data Crew Member at CSI Contractors, a Temporary Worker/Flagger for Jackson County, and Agricultural Technician positions at Harry & David. Patrick holds a degree in Rhetoric and Media Studies from Willamette University.

HISTORY The Northwest tradition of skiing on Snoqualmie Pass began in the 1920’s and 30’s, pre-dating the 1937 opening of the Snoqualmie Summit Ski Area. The earliest skiers were a hardy group of world-class ski jumpers who hiked up hill and competed on a jump built by the Seattle Ski Club, near Beaver Lake Hill. Interest in the sport by both jumpers and spectators grew rapidly, and in 1933 the Seattle Parks Department applied for a permit from the United States Forest Service to establish a ski hill at Snoqualmie Pass.
