Matthew Shepherd

Matthew Shepherd is the Director of Manufacturing at Summit Aviation, bringing over 20 years of experience in manufacturing leadership. They have effectively led a production department of over 800 team members responsible for $450 million in annual sales, focusing on continuous improvement through kaizen and TPS methodology. Previously, Matthew held various positions at Hitachi, including Production Supervisor and Production Manufacturing Director, and managed operations at Dr. Schneider Unternehmensgruppe and Kyosan Denso Manufacturing. They are currently pursuing a degree in Leadership and Management at Eastern Kentucky University.
