Michael Knipple

Michael Knipple is an accomplished Chief Information Security Officer with extensive experience in the field of information security. Currently serving at Summit BHC since October 2022, Michael has previously held significant roles including CISO and Vice President of Information Security at Quorum Health from August 2019 to September 2022, as well as multiple managerial positions focused on security architecture, engineering, and threat intelligence at Community Health Systems from February 2015 to April 2019. Earlier in Michael's career, positions included Senior IT Manager and CISO at CPI Card Group, Director of Operations at The Schneider Corporation, and Vice President of Civil Works and Operations at 3001, Inc. Michael’s career began with the US Army Corps of Engineers, serving as an engineer and manager from August 1991 to March 2003. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Information Security and Compliance from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The University of Memphis.
