Rachel Koone

Rachel Koone, MBA has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Rachel started their career at Wellpoint Anthem as a HEDIS Admin, where they were responsible for maintaining HIPAA compliance and working in internal systems. Rachel then joined Mercy Health as a Physician Revenue Cycle Team Lead, managing a team of 1,800 physicians and developing a Follow-Up User Guide. Rachel also worked at Parallon as a Team Lead AR Analyst, where they reconciled account discrepancies and communicated issues to management and corporate. Rachel later joined Wilmington Health PLLC as a Credentialing Specialist and SME, Inc. USA as an Assistant Administrative Director, where they verified patient benefits, performed billing processes, and handled claim adjudication. Currently, Rachel is working at Summit BHC as a CBO Billing and Collections Manager.

Rachel Koone earned their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Healthcare Management from American InterContinental University. Rachel pursued their education from 2006 to 2009, focusing on preparing herself for a career in the healthcare industry.
