Stephanie Lathrop

Stephanie Lathrop began their career in 1994 as a Postgraduate Researcher and Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, San Francisco. In 1999, they joined Maxygen as a Staff Scientist, Project Leader, and Director. In 2009, they moved to Perseid Therapeutics as a Senior Director of Project Management. In 2011, they were promoted to Vice President of Project Management at Perseid Therapeutics (subsidiary of Astellas Pharma). Finally, in 2016 they joined Summit Biosciences Inc. as a Project Manager.

Stephanie Lathrop obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.App.Sc.) (Hons I) in Microbiology and Biochemistry from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT). Stephanie then went on to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular Biology from QUT. Lastly, Stephanie completed a Post Doctoral Fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco.
