Jess Vilsack

Jess Vilsack's work experience begins with their role as General Counsel at Summit Carbon Solutions, starting in November 2021. Prior to this, they served as Chairperson of the Board and Board Member at Iowa Sports Foundation from 2018 to 2019. From 2011 to 2021, they worked as an Attorney/Shareholder at Nyemaster Goode. Jess Vilsack also served as a Board Member and later as Chairperson of the Board at Central Iowa Shelter and Services from 2007 to 2014. Additionally, they worked as an Attorney at MidAmerican Energy from 2010 to 2011 and as an Assistant County Attorney at Polk County Attorney's Office from 2005 to 2010. Jess'swork experience began at the U.S. District Court, where they served as a Law Clerk for Chief Judge Ronald E. Longstaff in the Southern District of Iowa from 2003 to 2005.

Jess Vilsack earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Hamilton College in 2000. Following this, from 2000 to 2003, Jess pursued a Juris Doctor with Distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law.
