Scott Whitman

Scott Whitman currently serves as a Science Teacher at Summit Charter School since January 2018. Alongside this role, Scott has been working as a Bartender at Lazy Hiker Brewing Company since November 2020 and as a Fly Fishing Guide for Fly Fishing The Smokies since May 2018. Previous experience includes positions such as Pool Manager and Lifeguard Instructor at Aqua Tech Pool Management from May 2014 to September 2018, and a Science Education Research Assistant at Western Carolina University for a brief period in 2017. Additional experience includes roles as a Club Sports Supervisor, Assistant Manager/Lifeguard at Aqua Tech Pool Management, and Soccer Referee at both Mountain View Recreation and USSF. Lifeguarding experience is also noted at Camp Carolwood and Catawba Country Club. Scott Whitman holds a degree from Western Carolina University, completed between 2013 and 2017.
