Summit Church
Laura Hunt is an experienced children's ministry leader with a background in early childhood education. Currently serving as the Children’s Ministry Curriculum Coordinator at Summit Church since June 2023, Laura previously held the roles of Nursery and Preschool Coordinator and Elementary Group Coordinator at the same organization from December 2015 to June 2022. In these positions, Laura effectively managed and trained large teams of volunteers to ensure safe, welcoming, and engaging environments for children and families. Prior to joining Summit Church, Laura taught third grade at Orange County Public Schools from August 2012 to May 2015, collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement adaptive lesson plans. Laura earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from the University of Central Florida.
