Brett Dioguardi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sustainability, operations, and education. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Summit Coffee since June 2021, Brett is integral to driving growth and strategic initiatives while leading sustainability efforts across the company. Previous roles include VP of Impact and Director of Sustainability & Supply Chain at Summit. Brett has a strong educational background in biology and sustainability, holding a Master's degree in Natural Resources with a focus on Global Sustainability from Virginia Tech, alongside a B.S. in Biology from Davidson College and a Post Graduate Diploma in Sustainable Environmental Management from the University of Plymouth. Additional experiences encompass coaching and teaching positions at The Hill School and Ambassador Christian School, environmental impact roles at Chipotle Mexican Grill, and consultancy work at Framework LLC.

Summit Coffee Co. is a café retailer and roasting company based in North Carolina. We have three company-owned stores, in addition to a roasting headquarters and coffee lab, and we distribute our whole bean coffee across the U.S. Since 1998, Summit has been steadfast in our pursuit of great coffee. We source from small-lot farmers all around the world, making multiple origin trips a year to work alongside our producing partners. After carefully selecting the best coffees from the best producers, and ensuring that we're responsible stewards in the supply chain, we import everything to our award-winning coffee HQs in Cornelius, NC. From here, we roast everything to order in our Certified Organic warehouse. In 2020, Summit is expanding its brand into the franchise business, setting others up for entrepreneurial success by helping them operate their own Summit Coffee locations.
