Ryan Place

Ryan Place is a Senior Data Scientist at Summit Consulting, LLC, with extensive experience in data science and natural language processing. Previously, Ryan served as Director of NLP and held various roles at OncoHealth, where contributions included leading projects in NLP. Prior experience includes working as a Data Scientist at Populus Group, focusing on a data science platform project for Novelis, where Ryan had started as a Data Science Intern. Ryan's background in microbiology includes contracting roles at the CDC, developing assays for viral diseases. Ryan holds a Master of Science in Bioinformatics from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from The University of Georgia.
