Ewell Hardman, M.Div., MAC, CCS, has extensive experience in the field of substance abuse and addiction services, currently serving as Compliance Officer at Arise Recovery Residences, Inc. since October 2017. Hardman also holds the position of Substance Abuse and Addiction Services Therapist at The Summit Counseling Center since December 2007 and serves as CEO of Arise Counseling Services since July 2011, providing outpatient services for individuals and families. Previous roles include Clinical Consultant at Northstar Recovery, Inc. from July 2011 to December 2014, and Director of the MAPP Diversion Program at Ewell Hardman LLC from January 2008 to January 2011, where a diversion program was developed for misdemeanor charges. Early career experience includes serving as Clinical Services Director at Metro Atlanta Recovery Residences, Inc. from June 1988 to February 2007. Ewell Hardman holds a Master of Divinity from Emory University and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Georgia State University.

The Summit also provides Suicide Prevention and Mental Health Awareness Education. With a staff of over 30 licensed therapists, we serve people of all ages and provide a wide range of specialty services, including help for those who want to grow individually, couples who want to improve their relationship, parents, teens, and children. We help people tackle alcohol or substance abuse problems, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and loss. We serve our community through our Main Office in Johns Creek, 6 community-based locations in Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Milton, Dunwoody, and Sugar Hill, and multiple public and private schools in Fulton, Dekalb, and Gwinnett County.
