Kerr S. Evans III is a 22-year commercial real estate veteran and a Senior Vice President at Summit Commercial Real Estate. Kerr is a native Washingtonian, graduating from the University of Virginia with a B.A. and George Mason University with a MBA. Kerr has dedicated his career to effecting a personalized, consultative representation of tenants and landlords throughout the Washington Metropolitan Region. Kerr has a proven track record and extensive experience representing law firm, association, financial, non-profit, and corporate clients during office relocations, lease renewals, office expansions, office condo and building acquisitions, and the marketing of excess space for sublease. Prior to joining Summit Commercial Real Estate, Kerr formed Evans CRE after being the second startup member of McBride Real Estate Services and starting out at two global firms, Insignia ESG (purchased by CBRE in 2004) and CBRE. Before entering commercial real estate, Kerr was a commercial fisherman in Alaska and coffee shop owner/operator in Charlottesville, VA. Kerr spends his free time outdoors with his three children and volunteering with the world’s largest wetlands conservation organization, Ducks Unlimited.
