Sam Whitehurst

Sam Whitehurst is an experienced financial executive with a strong background in credit union leadership. Currently serving as President/CEO of Summit Credit Union since August 2003, Sam previously held the same title at Winston-Salem Federal Credit Union from April 1993 to August 2003. Sam’s career in the financial sector began at SECU, where the role of VP/City Executive was held from March 1988 to April 1993. Educationally, Sam holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from North Carolina Wesleyan University and an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Western Carolina University.
