Joe Chesky

Joe Chesky has over 45 years of experience in electrical distribution. Having started his career at Graybar, he joined Summit Electric Supply in 1986 and played a valuable expansion role – taking the company beyond the Southwest into Texas and Louisiana.

At Summit, Chesky held many titles, including Senior Vice President of Operations, Senior Vice President of Business Development, and Senior Vice President of Credit and Inventory. His responsibilities included overseeing enterprise-wide purchasing, supplier relations, sales, accounts receivable, and inventory. Chesky retired from Summit Electric in 2012.

Chesky attended the University of Texas, Arlington, and is a US Army veteran – having served in Vietnam. He is a Gold Level graduate of the National Association of Electrical Distributors' Electrical Products Education Course (EPEC). Chesky has served on the Summit Electric Supply Board of Directors since May 2019.
