Diane Taylor has a range of experience in the financial planning industry. Diane began their career as a Past-President at FPA of New Jersey in 2002 and held this position until 2007. In 2004, they worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Fairleigh Dickinson University, teaching Income Tax Planning. From 2006 to 2010, Diane worked as a Senior Financial Planner at Shapiro Financial Security Group. In 2009, they joined TD Ameritrade as a Tax and Retirement Consultant, where they served as a financial expert on various projects related to investment and retirement tools. In 2010, Diane founded their own company, Diane K. Taylor Financial Planning, where they worked as a Senior Financial Planning Analyst until 2016. Currently, Diane is serving as the Director of Financial Planning at Summit Financial, where they perform and oversees financial planning for new and existing clients, while also conducting research on various financial planning issues.

Diane Taylor has a diverse education history that spans multiple fields of study. Diane obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Moravian University. Following that, they pursued a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Diane then enrolled in the College for Financial Planning, where they obtained a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, specializing in Financial Planning.

In addition to their formal education, Diane holds several certifications. Diane became a Certified Financial Planner through the CFP Board in December 1994. Diane also acquired various professional certifications, including Series 7 and Series 63 through the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and obtained the Medicare Information Certified Specialist credential from the Medicare Rights Center. Moreover, they received training in Family Law Mediation from the NJ Institute of Continuing Legal Education and completed Basic Interdisciplinary Collaborative Family Law Training from the Collaborative Divorce Training Institute.
