Shawn Peterson

Shawn Peterson has a diverse work history that includes positions in finance, coaching, and logistics. Shawn is currently serving as the Vice President of Credit at Summit Funding Group, Inc. since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Lending Officer at Wells Fargo for over 20 years, from May 2002 to June 2023. Shawn also has experience as a Youth Hockey Coach at Anaheim Ice from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, Shawn worked at FedEx Freight for almost 10 years, holding various roles such as Dock Trainer, Sr Dockworker, Hostler, Linehaul Dispatch, Weights and Research, Fueler, Supervisor's Assistant, and OS&D from September 1993 to September 2002.

Shawn Peterson completed their Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Cal State Fullerton, College of Business and Economics, from 1998 to 2001. Shawn later pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Iowa State University, completing it in 2009. At Iowa State University, Shawn obtained their MBA from the Ivy College of Business, specializing in Business with courses in Management Information Systems, Economics, Finance, Accounting, and Supply Chain Management.
