Alison Butler is an experienced professional in end-of-life care, currently serving as a Volunteer and End-of-Life Doula at Summit Home Health & Hospice since January 2022, where contributions include assisting patients with heritage projects and vigil plans. Additionally, Alison holds the position of End-of-Life Navigator and Doula at Navigating Dying, emphasizing the importance of compassionate guidance during the dying process. Prior to this, Alison worked in various educational roles, including as a Classroom Assistant and Tutor at Civiccorps, and as an Assistant Professor at Willamette University and Associate Professor at Kent State University. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Oregon and several certifications in end-of-life doula training from the International Doula Life Movement and INELDA.
