John Henry

John Henry is a Partner at Summit Law Group, where responsibilities include advancing labor relations goals for public and private sector employers, focusing on collective bargaining, grievances, arbitration, and litigation in unionized settings since April 2022. Prior to this role, John served as a Labor Negotiator for the City of Tacoma from February 2019 to April 2022, negotiating collective bargaining agreements for multiple city departments, including Police and IT. John's earlier experience includes serving as the Director of Dispute Resolution for the Indiana Education Employment Relations Board, where duties encompassed mediating disputes and adjudicating labor matters. Additionally, John practiced as an Attorney at Ruckelshaus Kautzman Blackwell Bemis & Hasbrook, specializing in civil, criminal, and labor law, and began as a Law Clerk focusing on legal research and document drafting. John holds a J.D. from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and a B.A. from Wabash College.
