Tige Nelson has over 15 years of experience in pipeline operations and hazardous materials management. Currently serving as Senior Pipeline Controller at Summit Midstream Partners, LP since October 2015, Tige is responsible for controlling the movements of crude oil in North Dakota. Previously, Tige held the position of Pipeline Controller at Enterprise Products from 2012 to October 2015, managing product flow on the LOUTEX and Louisiana system. Earlier in the career at Huntsman Corporation from 2005 to 2012, Tige managed environmental hazardous waste and ensured campus health and safety, while also serving as a backup shipper and leading the Emergency Response team. Tige holds a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from California State University, Chico, and an Associate’s Degree in Hazardous Materials Management from Cuyamaca College.
