Cassandra Englund-Thompson

Cassandra Englund-Thompson has a diverse work experience with a focus on marketing and communications. Cassandra started their career as a Client Services Liaison at Northland Associates Sales & Leasing, where they were responsible for various tasks such as website design, promotional pieces, and administrative projects. Cassandra then worked as a Human Rights Intern at International Justice Mission, where they conducted research and assisted the legal team on projects. Cassandra also served as an Interim Executive Director at Resource Network, Inc., where they played a key role in launching a new nonprofit organization.

Cassandra's career in orthopedics began at TRIA Orthopaedic Center, where they worked as a Communications Specialist. Cassandra'sresponsibilities included internal and external communications. Cassandra then joined Summit Orthopedics, where they held several leadership roles, including Senior Marketing & Communications Generalist, Marketing Manager, and Director of Marketing and Communications. In these positions, they oversaw marketing strategies and communications activities, managed budgets and teams, and collaborated with departmental leaders to support growth strategies. Cassandra's most recent role at Summit Orthopedics is Director of Experience Strategy, where they are responsible for developing multi-year plans and leading strategic initiatives with significant organizational impact.

Cassandra Englund-Thompson completed their BA in Communications and Writing (Individualized Major) at Bethel University from 2000 to 2004. Cassandra obtained a Certificate in Women in Leadership from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2022. In 2003, they also studied at Oxford University, Keble College, Centre for Medieval & Renaissance Studies, focusing on Oratory.
