Ashley Hoffmann has extensive work experience in the field of health and safety, EMS, and fire/EMS. In 2007, they joined Summit Point Training Facility, where they held multiple roles such as Director of Health & Safety, Director of EMS, and Director of Fire/EMS. Their responsibilities at Summit Point Training Facility included overseeing high fidelity medical training, specializing in Tactical Medicine, Paramedicine, and EMT. Ashley also played a key role in emergency operations involving EMS and Fire coverage at the facility and developed an EMS Training Facility for unique simulation training opportunities. Additionally, Ashley worked part-time as a Paramedic at Berkeley County Emergency Ambulance Authority since 2007. Their role there involved providing Advanced Life Support Care to the community, acting as a Hospice Liaison, assisting with public education and relations, and occasionally instructing basic EMS courses. Their tenure with Berkeley County Emergency Ambulance Authority ended in September 2020.
Ashley Hoffmann has a Bachelor's degree in EMS Administration from Columbia Southern University, which they obtained from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's degree in Emergency Medical Services Paramedicine and an Associate of Science - AS in Board of Governors from Blue Ridge Community and Technical College, which they completed from 2010 to 2012. Ashley's education journey began at James Wood High School, where they pursued Advanced Studies from 1999 to 2003. In addition to their degrees, they are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science Emergency Medical Services Administration certification from Columbia Southern University, with an expected completion in 2023.
