Mary Sullivan

Mary Sullivan is currently the Regional Vice President at Summit Re. Mary has extensive experience in the industry, having served as the Head of Stop Loss at ING Employee Benefits from 1997 to 2013, and as VP/Stop Loss/Employer/Payer/Provider at UnitedHealth Group from 2013 to 2021.

Mary has a proven track record in product development and management, successfully developing a new critical illness product that came to market in 30+ states within nine months, and generating a 25% increase in new business revenue within the first year. Mary is an expert in pricing strategy and negotiation, and has a deep understanding of the actuarial process.

Mary is a strong leader who is able to create alignment among cross-functional teams and across the business. Mary is a strategic thinker who can see the big picture and develop plans to achieve goals and meet key metrics.

Mary Sullivan graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin Stout in 1993.
