Kirk Karste

Kirk Karste has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Kirk currently holds the position of Vice President at Summit Therapeutics since 2023. Previously, they worked at Jazz Pharmaceuticals from 2016 to 2022 in various leadership roles, including Vice President, Global Franchise Lead and Global Molecule Lead. Before that, they worked at Medivation from 2015 to 2016 as a Product Team Leader and Pipeline & Lifecycle Lead. Prior to that, Karste worked at Onyx Pharmaceuticals, Inc., an Amgen subsidiary, from 2013 to 2015 in roles such as Global Marketing and Brand Lead. Kirk also worked at Genentech from 2008 to 2013, handling Pan Tumor Strategy, Value & Managed Care, and Rare Disease & Pediatrics Marketing. Additionally, Karste has experience at Sanofi, where they held roles in Sales Management and US Marketing from 1999 to 2008. Kirk started their career in the US Army as a Military Officer from 1995 to 1999.
