Jonathan E. Lewis

Jonathan E. Lewis has a diverse and extensive work experience in the finance industry. Jonathan E. is currently the Principal, Head of Sustainable Investing, and Chief Portfolio Strategist at Summit Trail Advisors since January 2023. Before joining Summit Trail Advisors, Jonathan was the Founder and President of Signatory Capital Advisors from May 2021 to January 2023. At Signatory Capital Advisors, they fulfilled various roles such as trader, analyst, portfolio manager, strategist, chief investment officer, asset management board director, and investment committee chair of a foundation that is a UN PRI Signatory. Prior to that, Jonathan served as the Chief Investment Officer at Fiera Capital from October 2015 to September 2020, where they led investment teams managing both traditional and non-traditional assets for public and private funds. Jonathan E. was also a member of the management committee and led ESG integration efforts. Before Fiera Capital, Jonathan was the Chief Investment Officer & Managing Principal and Chairperson of the Investment Committee at Samson Capital Advisors from June 2004 to October 2015. In addition, Jonathan served as the Chief Fixed Income Strategist at Offit Investment Group from November 2002 to May 2004 and as a Portfolio Manager at OFFITBANK from November 1999 to November 2002. In the early years of their career, they held the role of Head of Fixed Income and Portfolio Manager at Skandia from September 1988 to November 1999 and Trader of Money Markets at Dean Witter Reynolds from August 1986 to June 1988. Throughout their career, Jonathan has gained a deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges in achieving authentic ESG integration.

Jonathan E. Lewis has pursued a well-rounded education history. Jonathan E. holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance and Management from Columbia Business School. Prior to their MBA, they attained a Master of Arts (MA) in History from New York University. Jonathan E.'sundergraduate studies led him to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History and International Studies. In addition to their academic achievements, Jonathan has obtained a certification in Responsible Investment from the Principles for Responsible Investment Academy in February 2021.
