When Jos and Jorien Wijker started the Amsterdam fashion label in 1998, they had strong conviction and focus: they would beat their own path in the fashion world. Summum has experienced impressive growth every year since it was set up in 1998. A secret formula? Yes and no. Summum is adept at subtly translating its Dutch character into international trends, thereby addressing the ‘woman of the world’. The Summum collection - now complete with jewellery, jackets, scarves and other accessories - represents a total lifestyle choice for this woman.

Summum is also increasing its distribution outlets. There are currently 1000 selling points in 16 European countries and Summum recently crossed the pond to Canada. Full-on expansion, but one thing remains unchanged: the Summum stylists continue to do their own thing. From day one, Summum has combined diverse styles, fabrics and colours and this daring fusion forms the label’s DNA: cool with a romantic twist, sweet with an edgy finish.
