Alexis Aguinaldo is an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse currently working at Sumner Regional Medical Center since February 2023, where direct holistic patient care is provided to critically ill patients. Previously, from July 2015 to December 2022, Alexis served as Nurse III and Infection Prevention & Control Supervisor at Ilocos Training and Regional Medical Center, overseeing the implementation of infection prevention policies. Prior roles include Nurse II in a Neonatal ICU and Nurse I in various intensive care units, all at Ilocos Training and Regional Medical Center, where critical care nursing and patient management were key responsibilities. Alexis holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Saint Louis University (PH) and advanced degrees in Nursing Administration and International Health, along with a postgraduate certificate in Safety, Quality, Informatics, and Leadership from Harvard Medical School.

Sumner Regional Medical Center (SRMC) has been providing quality health care to Gallatin, Hendersonville and the surrounding areas for more than 50 years. Since opening in 1959 as Sumner County Memorial Hospital, SRMC has grown from a facility with just 50 employees and seven physicians to a comprehensive health care leader in the community with over 1,000 employees and 300 physicians.
