Maen Hammad is a seasoned professional in human rights advocacy and campaign strategies, currently serving as a Tech Accountability Campaigner at SumOfUs since July 2022. Previously, Maen held various roles at Amnesty International from July 2017 to July 2022, including Regional Campaigner, where responsibilities involved developing and implementing campaigning strategies for the MENA Regional Office. Prior experience encompasses positions at PeaceTech Lab as a Business Development Assistant, RISE as a Global Innovation Fellow focused on refugee integration, ANERA as a Projects Intern, UNHCR as a Protection Intern, and Human Rights Watch as a Middle East and North Africa Intern. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in International Affairs from The George Washington University, an Intensive Arabic Language Program at American University of Beirut, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science/Pre-Law from Michigan State University.
