John Quiñones, Vice President & Head of Fund Tax, joined Sun Capital in 2023. He has over 15 years of experience specializing in tax matters for the asset management industry. Prior to joining Sun Capital, Mr. Quiñones was Director of Tax at Barings, a global investment manager sourcing differentiated opportunities and building long-term portfolios across public and private fixed income, real estate, and specialist equity markets, and a tax manager with Deloitte Tax, where he began his career serving large asset management and family office clients. Mr. Quiñones received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Boston College, and a Master of Science in Taxation from Bentley University.
