Carl Weisbecker

Carl Weisbecker is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in the field of chemistry and materials development. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Sun Chemical since June 2013, Carl specializes in security and brand protection strategies, tamper-evident packaging, and the advancement of SunScreen in-line process monitor technology. Prior roles at Sun Chemical include focus on brand protection, liquid inks, and functional barrier coatings. Carl's career began at Anvik Corporation, where responsibilities centered on materials for excimer laser photolithography. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Chemistry from Stevens Institute of Technology, an MA in Chemistry from Harvard University, and a BA in Chemistry from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
