Marc Dumont has extensive work experience in the chemical industry. Marc started their career as an R&D Manager at SNCI in 1993. Marc then worked as a Global Key Account Manager at Ciba SC from 2002 to 2006. Marc joined Ciba in 2006 and held various marketing positions, including Global Marketing Head for Pigments for plastics. In 2009, they moved to BASF and became the Head of Global Product Management for Pigments for Plastics. Marc later took on the role of Head of Global Industry Management for Plastics at BASF Colors & Effects. In 2016, Marc became the Director at BASF Color & Effects Switzerland AG and also held the position of Head of Global Industry Management Plastics. In 2021, they joined SUN Chemical as the Head of Global Industry Management and later became the Global Business Line Head. Currently, Marc holds the position of Global Business Director at Sun Chemical.
Marc Dumont's education history includes earning a DESS - Corporate Businesses Administration Degree from the University of Pau in France from 1991 to 1992. The degree focused on various areas such as strategy, manufacturing planning & controlling, marketing, value analysis, as well as finance and accounting. Prior to that, from 1989 to 1991, Marc attended the Ecole d'Application des Hauts Polymères in Strasbourg, where they obtained a degree as an Engineer and Research Fellow. This degree specialized in polymers chemistry, physics, and processing.
