Martijn Schoonenberg

Martijn Schoonenberg is an experienced legal professional with a focus on corporate law, bankruptcy law, contract negotiation and drafting, and litigation. Since June 2015, Martijn has served as the Assistant General Counsel and Company Secretary at Sun Chemical, while also holding the position of General Counsel EMEA. Prior roles include Director of Commercial Risk Management in Global Sales at Sandvik, General Counsel MST-CFT at Lockheed Martin, and Senior Legal Counsel at Philips Consumer Lifestyle. Martijn began a legal career as an Attorney at Law at Schaap. Educational qualifications encompass a LL.M. in Corporate and Commercial Law from Utrecht University and participation in the FEM Executive Management Program at the Stockholm School of Economics, among other studies at various prestigious institutions.
