Shannon Saunders

Shannon Saunders, PhD, currently serves as the Special Project Coordinator and Administrative Specialist at Sun Devil Athletics since August 2021. Prior to this role, Shannon worked at Drake University, where noteworthy positions included Drake Relays Operations Manager for a brief period in April 2022 and Special Assistant to the Athletics Director/Director of Football Operations from August 2015 to August 2021. Additionally, Shannon contributed as an Adjunct Instructor for a Foundations of Leadership course for new and transfer student-athletes. Experience also includes operating the DVSport Instant Replay system during basketball games and prior roles at various organizations, including Old Navy, AIB College of Business, Family Video, Iowa Barnstormers, and William Penn University. Shannon holds a PhD in Education from Drake University, alongside a Master's degree in Business Leadership and a Bachelor's degree in Sports Administration/Business Management from William Penn University.
