Basil Mbuge

Basil Mbuge is a skilled boilermaker technician with extensive experience in various roles within the engineering and construction sectors. Currently employed at Sun Engineering since October 2022, Basil is involved in flange management, pipe installations, and ongoing demolition and installation projects. Previous experience includes roles at South Pacific Workforce and Bhama Recruitment Services, engaging in shut down works and maintenance tasks on significant mining and sea water projects. Basil also worked for Porgera Joint Venture and Hornibrooks NGI, where responsibilities ranged from welding to project-specific tasks within the Porgera gold mine site and fabrication shops. Basil holds a trade certificate in metal fabrication from St. Josephs Technical College, completed in 2001.
