Janelle Goulard has a long and varied work experience. Janelle began their career in 2008 as a Senior Consultant for Clinical Transformation Solutions at GE Healthcare. In this role, they were part of a start-up within GE Healthcare that developed new technology solutions for the healthcare market. Janelle then moved to a Consultant role for Performance Solutions, where they delivered strategic and operational projects using Lean/Six Sigma and change management. In 2013, they became a Consulting Manager for Bernelle, and in 2014, they became a Private Equity Associate for Krystal Financial Corp. In 2015, they became an Associate for RecapHealth Ventures, a fund focused on producing meaningful financial and social return in the areas of health and wellness. In 2017, they became an Investor for Aspect Biosystems. In 2016, they became a Partner at Pangaea Ventures, a world leader in Advanced Materials Venture Capital. Janelle also became the Director of Health Investment for the same company. In 2019, they became a Board Director for Modulim, and in 2020, they became a Board Director for Sun Genomics.
Janelle Goulard obtained a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from GE Healthcare in July 2012. Janelle then attended the Oregon Health & Science University for a 10x10 Course in Biomedical and Health Informatics in 2011. From 2013 to 2015, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from The University of British Columbia. Janelle also attended McGill University and obtained a BComm in International Business, Global Strategy and International Development Studies. Lastly, they attended WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) for a semester abroad.
