Janita Donaldson

Janita Donaldson has extensive work experience in various roles within the Sun International company. Janita started their career in 1991 as a Senior Assistant - Audit Clerk at Coopers & Lybrand - South Africa. Janita then moved on to Aventura Ltd as a Management Accountant from 1995 to 1996. In 1997, they worked at Sun International - Sun City Resort as a Hotel Accountant - Cabanas and later as the Financial Controller for Entertainment & Retail. Janita joined Sun International - Sun City Resort again in 2000 and held positions such as Resort Project Accountant, Resort Financial Manager, and eventually Chief Financial Officer. From 2007 to 2013, Janita worked as the Regional Financial Manager for the Resorts Division at Sun International. Janita then transitioned to various roles within the Sun International Vacation Club Sales & Association, including Commercial Manager - Hospitality and Commercial Manager, before becoming the Founder Trustee of the Sun Vacation Club Association. In November 2016, they were appointed as the Group General Manager and Director of Sun International Vacation Club Sales at Sun International.

Janita Donaldson attended the University of Johannesburg from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a BCom degree in Accounts. In 2004, they completed the Business Leadership Program at the University of Cape Town - Business School. Prior to their university studies, they attended Elsburg High School from 1983 to 1987.
