David Elwell

David Elwell, CFA, serves as a Portfolio Manager and Managing Director at Sun Life Financial since November 2007, having previously held the title of Senior Director. In this role, David has focused on sectors such as retail, consumer products, EETCs, and UK pubs. Prior to Sun Life, David worked at Columbia Management from November 1998 to November 2007 as a Senior Analyst, specializing in oil and gas, chemicals, paper, mining, REITs, and transportation. Additionally, David gained experience in credit research at Putnam Investments from November 1994 to November 1998. David's academic background includes a degree from the University of Denver, where studies were completed from 1990 to 1994, and earlier education at Holderness from 1986 to 1990.
