Heidi Hu

Heidi Hu is a seasoned professional in corporate development and M&A advisory, currently serving as the Director of Corporate Development at Sun Life since October 2021, where the role involves executing mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investments. Prior to this, Heidi held the position of Senior Manager in M&A Advisory at PwC Canada from January 2013 to October 2021, providing expertise in the end-to-end M&A process across various sectors, particularly in financial services, and advising on transactions with over $5 billion in deal value. Additionally, Heidi has experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Waterloo and served as a Campus Ambassador for Harvard Undergraduate Women In Business. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Accounting and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Financial Management, both obtained from the University of Waterloo.
