Kate Millar

Kate Millar, CMP, VEMM, is an experienced event planning professional with a strong background in managing high-profile events. Currently serving as a Senior Event Planner at Sun Life since February 2016, Kate has played a key role in various capacities, including the SLFD and Broadcast & Event Services divisions. Prior experience includes serving as an Event Manager for the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, where Kate successfully managed over 60 annual events and achieved a net revenue goal of $500,000 for the Opening Night Gala. Additional roles include Program & Events Coordinator at RBC Global Asset Management and Development Coordinator for Special Events at the Toronto International Film Festival Group. Kate holds a Post-Graduate Certificate in Event Management from Humber College and a dual degree in Psychology and Communication from Wilfrid Laurier University.
