Peng Zhou

Peng Zhou currently serves as Managing Director at Sun Capital Advisers, a division of Sun Life Financial, since May 2004, overseeing the hedging program for a $20 billion insurance portfolio as well as managing a synthetic equity portfolio. Prior to this role, Peng Zhou was a Senior Actuarial Associate at Sun Life Assurance of Canada from January 2003 to April 2004, where expertise was applied in asset/liability modeling and the implementation of an $800 million notional interest rate hedge for the universal life insurance business. Peng Zhou earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mathematics from the University of Connecticut between 1999 and 2003.
