Ryan Crasto

Ryan Crasto has over 17 years of experience in the cybersecurity and information technology fields. Currently serving as AVP of Security Strategy and Data Protection at Sun Life since September 2011, Ryan is responsible for overseeing security strategy, technology modernization, data protection, and security analytics. Previous roles at Sun Life include Director positions in Cyber Security and Security Architecture, where Ryan focused on digital transformation and aligning security domains with cybersecurity architecture. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Security Specialist at IBM, providing expertise to financial institutions, and earlier roles in business systems consulting and technical support. Ryan holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from York University and has additional education from Centennial College.
