Salina Young

Salina Young has extensive experience in the actuarial field, currently serving as Assistant Vice President of Mortality and Longevity Strategic Research at Sun Life since August 2007. In this role, Salina leads the development of the global mortality and longevity strategy, providing insights to various teams by analyzing relevant research data. Previous positions at Sun Life include Assistant Vice President of Corporate Actuarial Methods and Standards and Director roles in Corporate Actuarial Methods and Standards, Global Stochastic Analytics, Group Benefits Planning and Metrics Management, and Asset and Liability Management. Salina began the career as an actuarial intern at AIA. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science and Mathematics from the University of Toronto and attendance at the Stanford University Mathematics Camp.
