Kazuhiko Nishioka

Kazuhiko Nishioka is the co-founder and CEO of SUNMETALON Inc. since February 2021 and has been a PhD Candidate in the Olson Group at Northwestern University since 2016, specializing in Materials Science and Engineering. Prior to this, Kazuhiko Nishioka worked at Nippon Steel Corporation for over a decade, advancing through various roles from Engineer to Senior Manager in the Hot Rolling Technology Department, where responsibilities included quality and production improvements, new equipment installations, and corporate planning. Kazuhiko Nishioka holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Northwestern University, as well as a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Tokyo.
