Abdulgafur Mir

Abdulgafur Mir has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on finance and operations. Abdulgafur most recently served as the Vice President of Business Finance at SUN PHARMA, where they were responsible for global budgeting, M&A, and finance controlling for power plants. Abdulgafur also led various corporate projects and successfully implemented management and capex reporting systems. Prior to this, Abdulgafur held the position of Vice President of Finance & Accounts at INTAS PHARMACEUTICALS LIMITED. Before that, they worked at Watson Pharma Pvt Ltd as the Senior General Manager of International Operation Finance and Commercial. In this role, they managed regional operations finance for multiple countries and legal entities, as well as actively contributed to GST implementation, cost savings, divestments, and compliance initiatives. Abdulgafur started their career at LUPIN LIMITED, where they held the position of Senior Manager of Business Finance. Abdulgafur was responsible for accounting, reporting, and implementing SAP. Throughout their career, Abdulgafur has demonstrated strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and an ability to drive results in complex and global environments.

Abdulgafur Mir completed a CMA (Costing and Management Accounting) program at ICWA in 1995. In 1994, they obtained a DFM (Financial Management) from Mumbai University. In 2015, Abdulgafur enrolled in K J Somaiya College and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Commerce. Additionally, in 2020, they acquired a certification in AI Business from AI Business School.
