Karen Lowney

Karen Lowney serves as the Associate Vice-President and Head of Compliance at SUN PHARMA since October 2020. Previously, Karen held the position of Vice President of Privacy at Tribune Publishing Company, where the establishment of the first Privacy Office and the implementation of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) readiness program were significant achievements. Prior experience includes serving as Executive Director and Global Privacy Lead at Astellas Pharma, providing compliance leadership across various departments, and holding multiple compliance leadership roles at Cephalon, Schering Plough, and other organizations. Additionally, experience encompasses audit and regulatory roles dating back to the mid-1990s, along with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Accounting from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
