Prakash Naik

Prakash Naik has over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on operations and technical roles. Prakash started their career at E Merck India Ltd as a Production Executive, where they were responsible for commissioning a new tablet facility and achieving production targets. Prakash then joined Glenmark Pharmaceuticals as a General Manager Operations, where they led greenfield projects and obtained regulatory approvals for OSD formulations. Prakash also worked at Microlabs as Executive Vice President Technical and Operations, overseeing a large team and completing a capacity formulation project. At Teva Pharmaceuticals, they served as Director Pharmaceutical Resources - India, handling product life cycles and managing supply chains. Prakash's experience also includes roles at Microlabs Ltd, Cambrex, and Sun Pharma, where they held positions such as Vice President Operations and Senior Vice President Operations - India Region II. Throughout their career, Prakash has demonstrated expertise in managing multi-location sites, executing Capex projects, achieving KPIs for quality and productivity, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Prakash Naik received their Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Goa College of Pharmacy Panaji in 1986. Prakash then pursued a Master of Pharmacy degree from Goa University, which they completed in 1988. In 1994, Prakash enrolled in Indira Gandhi National Open University and obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General. Most recently, in 2022, they completed a Leadership Program at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, specializing in Leadership Development.
