Tapan Das

Tapan Das is an experienced professional in the pharmaceutical industry with a strong background in quality assurance and management. Currently serving as the Sr. General Manager and Site Quality Head at SUN PHARMA since October 2022, Tapan Das previously held the position of Associate Vice President Quality at Symbiotec Pharmalab Pvt. Ltd. from September 2020 to October 2022. Earlier roles include General Manager Corporate Quality and General Manager Site Quality Head at Lupin from January 2013 to June 2020, and Deputy General Manager in Corporate Quality Assurance at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals from November 2008 to January 2013. Tapan Das began a career at SUN PHARMA in January 2001 as Manager of Quality Assurance and also worked at Strides Arcolab Limited in Quality Control. Tapan Das holds an MBA in Operation Management from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies and two Bachelor of Pharmacy degrees from Utkal University.
